Junior Geologist Document Verification List & Instructions
The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has issued an important notification regarding the verification of original certificates for candidates of the post Junior Geologist (Class-III) under Advertisement / Board Notice No. 305/2025-26.
This notification is published based on the merit obtained in the MCQ-CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test) held on 16 September 2025.
📌 Purpose of the List
Based on marks obtained in the competitive examination, a list of probable candidates has been prepared for inclusion in the Selection List / Waiting List. These candidates are called for original certificate verification.
Inclusion in this list does not guarantee final selection. Final selection will be subject to successful verification of eligibility and availability of category-wise vacancies.

Document Verification List
📑 Documents Required for Verification
Candidates must bring original certificates along with two sets of self-attested photocopies in the following order:
- School Leaving Certificate / Birth Proof
- SSC & HSC Mark Sheets and Certificates
- Post-Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology OR
BE/B.Tech in Geo-Technical Engineering – all semester mark sheets & degree certificate - Caste Certificate (SC / ST / SEBC, if applicable)
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (SEBC – valid as per rules)
- EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- Computer Knowledge Certificate
- PwBD Certificate (if applicable)
- Photo Identity Proof
- Two recent passport-size photographs
⚠️ Important Instructions
- Candidates must remain personally present for certificate verification.
- If unable to attend due to unavoidable reasons, verification may be done through a guardian with prior written consent and prescribed consent form.
- Candidates not willing to join the post must inform the Board in writing.
- Any discrepancy between application details and certificates may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Final Selection List will be published after completion of verification.
