Corrigendum & Important Notice – Junior Pharmacist 2026
Detail:-
- With reference to Advertisement No. 329/2025-26 for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Pharmacist, Class-III Cadre, published on 15/12/2025, the Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board, Gandhinagar, hereby issues this corrigendum regarding increase in vacancies, changes in examination pattern and extension of the application deadline.
1. Increase in Vacancies
- Initially, a total of 209 vacancies of Junior Pharmacist, Class-III were advertised under the control of the Health & Family Welfare Department.
- Subsequently, an additional 112 vacancies have been received from the Office of Medical Education & Research.
Total Revised Vacancies: 321 Posts
Recruitment shall now be conducted for these revised vacancies as per the updated category-wise distribution mentioned in the corrigendum.
2. Changes in Examination Pattern
- The examination will be conducted as a single-stage competitive examination of objective type MCQs through CBRT/OMR mode.
Examination Structure:
- Part-A (90 Marks)
- Reasoning & Data Interpretation – 30 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude – 30 Marks
- Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension – 30 Marks
- Part-B (120 Marks)
- Subject-related questions and practical applicability
Total Questions: 210 | Total Time: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)
Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
3. Extension of Application Deadline
- Candidates who could not apply earlier within the prescribed period are hereby informed that the application deadline has been extended.
- Revised Online Application Period From 08/01/2026 (14:00 hrs) To 17/01/2026 (23:59 hrs)
Applications and examination fees must be submitted online within the above period.
4. Cut-off Dates
- Educational Qualification Cut-off Date: 17/01/2026
- Age Limit Cut-off Date: 30/12/2025 (as per original advertisement)
Except for the above-mentioned changes, all other terms and conditions of the original advertisement dated 15/12/2025 shall remain unchanged.
