Marking / normalization adjustments

Marks will be awarded on a pro-rata basis considering the cancelled/adjusted questions. The Board has specified the following marking scheme:

• Part A — Correct answer: +1.00; Wrong answer: -0.25.
• Part B — Because of the cancellation/adjustment, the effective marks per question have been normalized as: +1.00671 for a correct answer and -0.25167 for a wrong answer. (This normalization reflects the pro-rata distribution after removing/correcting affected questions.)

Note: Candidates will be awarded marks according to the revised final answer key and the pro-rata normalization mentioned above.
