Samras Chhatralay Admission 2025-26 – Online Application Notification

The Samras Chhatralay Society, Gandhinagar has issued an official notification inviting online applications for admissions to Group-11 Medical hostels for the academic year 2025-26.

Eligible candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) who are studying in graduate, post-graduate, and higher studies courses may apply for admission in Samras Boys and Girls Hostels located at Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Mehsana, Anand, Himatnagar, Patan, Modasa, and Gandhinagar.

Eligibility Criteria

For new admission in graduate programs: 12th standard percentage will be considered for merit.
For post-graduate admissions: Graduation marks/percentage (as per University admission criteria) will be considered.
Candidates must have secured 50% or more marks in qualifying examinations.
For renewal students: Must have secured at least 50% marks (or equivalent grade) in the last two semesters.
Admission is allowed only in the Samras Hostel located in the same district where the candidate’s college is situated.

Application Process

Eligible candidates must apply online at samras.gujarat.gov.in.
Fill the online application form carefully and upload the required documents.
Take a printout of the application form and check all details before final submission.
If any mistake is found, use the “Withdraw Application” option on the portal and re-apply before the last date.

Selection Process

Provisional merit list will be prepared based on marks/percentage.
Candidates included in the merit list must appear for document verification at the respective Samras Hostel within the given time period.
Final admission will be confirmed after verification of original certificates.
If discrepancies are found between online data and original documents, admission will be cancelled.
