Revenue Talati Mains Exam All Syllabus 2025 GSSSB Class-III Mains Exam Paper-3 General Studies Syllabus

The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has published the detailed syllabus for Advertisement No. 301/202526 regarding Revenue Talati Mains Exam All Syllabus 2025, Class-III. The Preliminary Exam was conducted on 14th September 2025 for a total of 2389 posts. The Mains Examination is tentatively scheduled from 14th October 2025.

Paper-1 (Gujarati) and Paper-2 (English) syllabus were already published earlier.

Now, the detailed syllabus for Paper-3: General Studies has been released.

Paper – 1: Gujarati (Main Examination)

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Medium: Gujarati
  • Type: Descriptive

Structure:

  1. Essay (about 200 words) – 10 Marks
  2. Expansion of Idea (about 200 words) – 10 Marks
  3. Precis Writing (about 200 words) – 10 Marks
  4. Comprehension: Passage with questions (1/3rd passage unseen) – 10 Marks
  5. Letter Writing (Formal/Informal, about 200 words) – 10 Marks
  6. Report Writing (about 200 words) – 10 Marks
  7. Dialogue Writing (about 200 words) – 10 Marks
  8. Analytical Writing (about 200 words) – 10 Marks
  9. Translation: English to Gujarati (10 sentences) – 10 Marks
  10. Grammar & Usage – 20 Marks

Paper – 2: English (Main Examination)

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Medium: English
  • Duration: 3 Hours
  • Type: Descriptive

Structure:

  1. Essay (about 150 words, choose one from three topics) – 10 Marks
  2. Letter Writing (about 150 words, formal issue-based letter) – 10 Marks
  3. Report Writing (about 150 words) – 10 Marks
  4. Writing on Visual Information (Graph/Image/Flow Chart/Table/Statistics) – 10 Marks
  5. Formal Speech (about 150 words) – 10 Marks
  6. Precis Writing (about 50 words for a 150-word passage) – 10 Marks
  7. Reading Comprehension (about 250 words passage + Q/A) – 10 Marks
  8. English Grammar (10 questions, 2 marks each = 20 Marks) covering:
