Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized University.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications (as per rules).
  • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
  • Age limit: 18 to 35 years as on 06/10/2025 (relaxation for reserved categories, women, ex-servicemen, and PwD as per rules).
  • Physical fitness norms as prescribed in Appendix-I (no color blindness, visual standards as per rules).

Pay Scale

Fixed pay of ₹26,000/- per month for first 5 years. After satisfactory completion, candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100) as per 7th Pay Commission, subject to government rules For FSL Searcher Fingerprint Dept Recruitment 2025.

Examination Details

  • Mode: CBRT/OMR (Objective MCQ type).
  • Parts: Part-A (60 marks) and Part-B (150 marks).
  • Total Questions: 210 | Duration: 3 hours.
  • Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer.
  • Qualifying standard: Minimum 40% in Part-A and 40% in Part-B separately.

Part A (60 Marks)

  • Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 Qs)
  • Quantitative Aptitude (30 Qs)

Part B (150 Marks)

  • Indian Constitution (10 Qs)
  • Current Affairs – State, National & International (10 Qs)
  • Comprehension (Gujarati – 5 marks; English – 5 marks)
  • Subject-related questions based on educational qualification (120 Qs). Subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Organic Chemistry, Polymers, Cell Biology, Human Anatomy, Environmental Science, etc.

Important Instructions

  • Only online applications through OJAS portal will be accepted.
  • Application fee: ₹500 (General); ₹400 (Reserved categories, Women, PwD, Ex-Servicemen).
    Fees refunded to candidates who appear in the exam.
  • Final Answer Key will be prepared after considering objections to the provisional key.
  • Merit list will be prepared category-wise on the basis of normalized marks.
